Our sound healing is taking on new dimensions. We have been graced with a Harmonic Sound Activation that pervades our work!
Its with so much excitement that I ( Phil) am writing this! Chiho has overcome 3 1/2 years of illness (cancer ) and will soon be on track for an exciting period in our growth .Our spirits have forged through an experience beyond our imagination that has resulted in an ascension of souls. Our faith in each other and the power of self healing has manifested in a plethora of experiences that will benefit our sound journeys and one day be covered in a book.

Suffice to say, Chiho has been through an amazing transformation recieving some amazing downloads in the last few years as she focussed on her healing.  I myself am also on a new wave of confidence and ability, blessed by a healing journey that was instigated by Chiho. 

For me, playing my Hemp Didj, (tuned to 432Hz) and seeing Chiho respond to its energetic pulse in spasms of ecstatic voice while  being relieved of pain was  such a blessing. 
Chiho's etheric voice, juiced up by some amazing metaphysical experiences over the last few years gathers an  energy that is palpable, soothing and nourishing to the soul.

Preparing for the Healing Meditation on the 23rd March is certainly different to getting ready for one of my gigs. Its not that I can practice for a sound meditation like I do for other performances.
Sound meditation is about being in the flow . A ride of frequencies coated within Intent.
Developing my “Intent of healing “ is my preparation for this special evening . 
Healing energy is a nurturing energy. 
Nurturing being our first experience of love. Being nurtured, nurturing and loving our pets and favourite toys ( remember Pet Rocks?) etc.
Ive discovered that generating the energy of healing in my body/mind is such an all encompassing energy that feels good right away, morphing into love . SO if your coming to this special Sound Meditation evening begin to focus yourself on your intent. Just thinking about it will conjure up the energies.

​Music has been my keeper since learning guitar at 15 years old. I would sit on my own with my guitar playing the chords I knew and making up lyrics for hours. The words came from my heart as an expression of my soul and emotional state . Even though I didn't know it at the time I was experiencing Sound Healing. The vibration of the guitar against my chest was soothing and calmed my soul. The words of soul provided relief.

Music became my survival tool and it was natural that I shared this power of music, my passion,  in my classroom teaching and searched forms that enhanced my experience of sound in music.

In 1980 I started my meditation practice and was introduced to Bhajan and Kirtan. I  used these ancient techniques of song as a method to further express my inner world.

Everything flowed from there to now where I am now using various instruments to create a catalyst for healing.

This is an amazing combination of energies that work with each other to produce a most efficient  technique in quelling the mind and de-stress he body. We live in such an active world, full of seen and unseen stimulations.  
This unique approach has been most successful and we are so happy with the results our guests were experiencing. They all remark at how quickly their minds slowed down and  their body relaxed. The day flows in an easy and fluent manner that leaves everyone in a comfort zone of peace and restfulness.   
The various techniques of sound act as the key to settling the body and mind into a tranquil vibration of peace, taking us into a journey within the moment.
The periods of silence that follow are times of reflection and observation and simple presence. What is the mind saying to itself. How many thoughts are recurring. What are the main themes of my thoughts. How much negative self talkings am I victim of.
The day allows us to see how the mind is thinking. 
Many of the  forms of sound during the day are techniques that you can use in everyday life to slow the minds pace and return to the present moment.

Every single mammal on the planet will naturally do a fast when they become sick or injured.
If the digestive system is in constant use it takes a minimum of 60 to 75% of our energy to do it’s job! When you fast all that energy is freed up to be used in healing and repairing.
The body also proliferates stem cells during a fast that have the ability to regenerate damaged and weak tissue anywhere in the body according to USC (University of Southern California).
My companion of 11 years, a Staffy Cross ( Yoko ), was suffering from arthritis and walking poorly. A little stiff and slow. Her cure came by accident. 
I was camping in the bush near Esperance in WA and she disappeared. We looked for a day and couldn't find her. We put notices up everywhere and were feeling very sad. Just when we thought all was lost, 3 1/2 days later a car drove up to our site and out jumps Yoko…she had found a spring and was there for the whole time. Fasting and drinking spring water.
I immediately noticed her running and feeling very lively . At first I put it down to her initial joy at finding home but Yoko lived on for another 4 years without the pain and in full movement. It was a lesson I've never forgotten. Thank you Yoko.

“Studies have shown that reducing typical calorie consumption, usually by 30 to 40 percent, extends life span by a third or more in many animals, including nematodes, fruit flies and rodents.”
Many studies have concluded that a combination of fasting and/or intermittent fasting promotes a healthier, and longer life.

The Peter Hess Institute describes sound  massage this way:
"A stone falling into a pond creates concentric waves spread over the entire pond. Each molecule of water is put into motion in this way. Something similar happens with the sound massage inside your body, which consists of 75% water. The soothing vibrations are transmitted to the body and from there spread in concentric waves.. The result is a soothing massage for each of the 100 trillion cells in the body. A cellular massage.

Sound Heals Broken Bones!

I first came across the power of sound to heal in the 80's through the power of song incarnate and Bahajans. Later as science stepped up its research I came across an article by Anthony Cartledge exposing the power of Bio Acoustics.It talked about the extraordinary gift of Sharry Edwards who discovered that "every substance, structure or process in the body has its own specific vibration, and replacing any missing or stressed frequencies would provide the body the means to heal."
In fact Sharry was put to the test when her 19 year old son Jessie shattered his knee cap into 35 pieces in 1991.
Sharry installed a device in Jessies hospital room to deliver the necessary tones at audible sound levels to his body and his reaction was immediate. The pain alleviated immediately and something extraordinary was occurring: the kneecap was growing back. Jessie was walking without braces two months later. Fully recovered !!
Confronted with this bizarre phenomenon the surgeons , who said he would be crippled for life, could only explain the growth as calcium deposit which just happened to be in the shape of kneecap. Its such a pity that the medical institutions are so slow in catching on to new discoveries.

I had my first reading with Les in 1997 and it was amazingly accurate. He saw that I would be working as a  sound healer and be involved with a  strange and rare  instrument that was bowl like, had incredibly powerful energy  but like nothing he had ever seen  or heard of before. I researched for weeks, and even experimented with creating bowl like instruments but came up with nothing. 
However, verification came 8 years later when I fell in love with  Chiho. I didn't know at the time that she played the "Crystal Armonica," a rare and powerful instrument of 30 pure quartz crystal bowls . Our sound healing journey together had begun.
 Les has given readings to many of my friends, all of which come away with many verifications of relatives who have messages. Chiho and I also recently worked with Les on his " Messages with Angles" tour and had a great time, witnessing so many people receiving very accurate information.
On August 14th Les will be with us here at Harmonic Earth Sanctuary to do his thing again! Im so thrilled and know he won't disappoint. Please come and join us. We have offered our music and sound in the past for intellectually challenged people in Australia and were hoping to do some work like this in Bali.
In the past we looked for schools and institutions that we could play music for but didn't succeed. 
This time we were guided to the Sari Hati school by our friend for intellectually challenged children and were able to  conduct three music classes. 

The school is run by donations and has been going for 20 years. 
The founder, Adid, happened to be there as they were doing a presentation for Mastercard and other interested sponsors. Originally they were funded by Star of Hope from the Ukraine. Thre is always difficulty with funding. The bus is need of repair and the dedicated staff and volunteers work very hard.
Adid is also the owner of the very popular "Sari Organic Cafe" and markets. There is a lot of interest in organics in Ubud with many cafes.

We went  again over the next three  Mondays at 11am to conduct the class on our own.
The kids were a delightful group  of all ages and into adulthood. We sang songs, played 
music , did action games and even did a small sound journey with them. After each session we were welcomed to share lunch with everyone.

It was such a friendly, and warm environment. 
Without such schools these children are often left, hidden away at home, or as one child, left to survive on the streets. The school has been teaching them to speak and communicate and giving them selfworth and happiness.

Well here we are in Bali.
Its been a fantastic time as we have had four sound healing sessions at the Yoga Barn and other venues with our friend Yasu.

Yasu plays crystal & samadhi bowls and various flutes from his heart. He has been holding sound meditation in Bali for two years. We met him on our last visit a year and a half ago.
Together we have completed sound sessions  at three venues and its' been an  absolutely exciting time. It has been a surprise at how natural and easy it is to play with Yasu.  We have formed a strong bond. 

We also appeared as special guests for  White Star  and Shervin on Wednesday evening at the Yoga Barn. The room was full and Chiho transfixed everyone with the magic of the Crystal Armonica.
